Jenny Holzer in London

Jenny Holzer in LondonOn Friday evening poems by Samuel Beckett and other poets where beamed onto City Hall by artist Jenny Holzer for the first time ever in London. This was the first of eight nights of displays. The text was in constant motion so a high ISO and fast shutter speed was required to capture this shot.

Thanks. I didn't have a tripd that evening and so I lay on the ground and rested my camera on my rucksack (a makeshift beanbag) and then bumped the ISO up to 1600, f3.2 and 1/4 sec shutter speed to capture the shot with the text almost frozen as it (the text) was in constant motion.

Nice photo, the other day I caught flowing water as angel hair without a tripod in a shady spot. I shot in Av mode at f/22. I could not believe the result.
